Hillsborough and Tri-City have made a swap. Players involved in the transaction are the Highlanders 28-year old second baseman Jerry Wood and the ValleyCats $1 in cash.

In 2015 Wood is batting .209 with 2 home runs.

Wednesday, June 10th, 2015: Norman Dominates Hillsborough
It was a great game for Curt Norman of the New York Gothams. The 29-year-old hurler blanked the Hillsborough Highlanders 5-0, stopping them on 4 hits.

This year Norman has no saves, totaled 38.1 innings, allowed 35 base hits and fashioned a 2.58 ERA while racking up 15 strikeouts and a record of 3 wins and 2 losses.

Saturday, June 6th, 2015: Superstar MR Inks Deal with Highlanders
Happy times in Hillsborough as the Highlanders and star reliever Víctor Sánchez put the finishing touches on a $7,600,000 contract extension that will keep the 26-year-old in town 1 year longer.

The signing is great news for Hillsborough because players of this caliber are hard to come by.

To date this year Sánchez has won 2 and lost 2 with a 2.13 ERA, 4 saves and 21 strikeouts in 19 relief appearances.
