It was a dismal game for the Dragonflies with Timothy Arseneault on the hill. The Huntington Beach starter was in top form and made it a long day for MacEwen with a 5-0 shutout. He surrendered a total of 6 hits and piled up 3 strikeouts to pick up the win in a route-going effort.
Checking out his stats for the season, Arseneault has notched 3 wins and 5 losses in 12 starts, 1.88 ERA and struck out 19 batters in 95.2 innings.

It was a big day with the bat for Chuck Wells of the MacEwen Dragonflies at Dragonflies Stadium as he bashed out hit after hit after hit to defeat Akron 10-5.
To the press after the ballgame he modestly said, "Guys, it's just one game in a long season. I hit it hard and found some holes today. 5 hits in 6 tries. But my hits are not the big thing in the game. The victory is the important thing. That's the story."
At the end of the game Wells had collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats and a small mention in the record book. He was happy. He had a big day with the bat. And the Dragonflies had won.
The beat writers were happy, too. They had their big story -- they could write about his big day with the bat.
C. Wells singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit a two-run single in the 11th.
