| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, June 24th, 2015: Hinkle Hurls Sycamores to Shutout Victory
After his 4-0 shutout win against the Doves, Scot Hinkle said, "I went out there to try and eat up innings and help out our bullpen. I felt I had my good stuff... and it turned out my command was solid and my breaking balls were good."
They were better than good as the Sycamores pitcher put up 10 strikeouts, surrendered no walks, allowed 3 hits and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
Currently Hinkle has a 8-6 won-lost record in 17 starts with a 2.85 ERA. He also has 68 strikeouts in 123 innings.

| Monday, June 8th, 2015: Great Week for Duxbury's Manuel
The top batter in the Sub League 2 last week was Manuel Esparza, who batted .481 and towered above everybody with a 7-game hitting barrage.
During the week Esparza banged out a .481 batting average (13-27), no home runs, 6 RBI and scored 6 runs.
Today the Duxbury third baseman received the SL2 Player of the Week Award.
This season Esparza is batting .329 with 70 hits, no home runs, 31 RBIs, .363 OBP and has scored 21 runs.

| Monday, June 1st, 2015: Sub League 2 Announces May's Best Batter
Spike Ellis of the Duxbury Sycamores stood out at the plate during May. The 23-year-old catcher manhandled Sub League 2 pitchers by batting .340 and was selected the Batter of the Month.
Ellis collected 36 hits with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 20 times.
In this current campaign Ellis is hitting at a .330 clip with 4 home runs and 30 RBIs.
