| Breaking News |  | Friday, June 26th, 2015: Players Suspended in Tartans-Blue Hens Donnybrook
Both benches got involved in a rowdy fracas during the Henderson-Saint Paul game at Henderson Grounds. The two main culprits have been suspended by the league. The Tartans Vern Kennedy and the Blue Hens Frédéric Durand were each issued 2-game suspensions for their unsportsmanlike behavior and aggressive actions.
Kennedy has collected 25 hits for the Tartans this year, 0 of them home runs. He has also netted 9 RBIs and scored 14 runs while batting .197.
This year Durand has 1 win and 3 losses and a 3.25 ERA.

 | Saturday, June 20th, 2015: Sims Gets Shutout
A masterful pitching performance carried the Glenwood Glory to a 6-0 victory over Henderson. Jeremiah Sims held them scoreless in a complete-game effort. He permitted 3 hits, had 6 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk.
The skipper of the Tartans said, "Sims was sharp. We never did figure him out."
This season Sims has a 5-6 record with a 3.28 ERA in 15 starts.

Carlsbad hurler David Garza put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Henderson Tartans with a 11-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks to pick up the win.
The opposing manager told reporters after the game, "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball."
This season Garza has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 4.05 ERA.
