| Breaking News | | Thursday, June 18th, 2015: Garza Blanks Henderson
Carlsbad hurler David Garza put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Henderson Tartans with a 11-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks to pick up the win.
The opposing manager told reporters after the game, "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball."
This season Garza has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 4.05 ERA.

Pat Keith made quick work of Glendale, blanking the Doves 5-0 at Ballpark of Carlsbad today. The Carlsbad pitcher limited them to 5 hits to earn the victory. Keith fanned 4 and walked 1.

All week long Cisco Elías was the talk of the Sub League 2... his name and face were everywhere. So it was no surprise to anyone when he was chosen the Sub League 2's Player of the Week for his exceptional performance.
