| Breaking News |  | Monday, June 22nd, 2015: Week's Premier Player: Glendale's McDormand This week's best performer in the Sub League 1 was left fielder Ty McDormand of the Glendale Scouts.
He slashed out a .600 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week McDormand stroked 15 hits in 25 at-bats and no home runs, drove in 14 runs and scored 5 times.

That would be hard to believe for anyone who saw him dispose of the Extreme with a great 5-hit performance.
"He made it look easy," said the San Bernardino manager, who saw his team fall to the Glendale Scouts, 15-0. "Hats off to him!"
T. McDormand hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
Batting .241 to date, McDormand has 1 home run and 44 RBIs. |  | Saturday, June 20th, 2015: Scouts Castellanos Tosses Masterpiece In an excellent mound performance, Raúl Castellanos of the Glendale Scouts whitewashed the San Bernardino Extreme 15-0 on a 4-hitter.
He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches."
The San Bernardino manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Castellanos did a good job keeping us guessing."
In all, the Glendale hurler rang up 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout win.
