Arthur McDormand of the Plano Devastators was really in the zone as he mowed down the Toledo hitters 7-0 in a sterling mound performance.
"I'm feeling good overall," he said.
"I'm executing my pitches, I'm able to hit my spots and I'm getting outs in key situations."
McDormand shut down the Toledo Viceroys, blanking them on 6 hits while registering 10 strikeouts and 1 walk.
This season McDormand has worked 115.1 innings with 57 strikeouts en route to a 8-7 record and a 2.42 ERA.

Curt Martyn went the distance at Scouts Ballpark today. The Glendale hurler yielded 3 hits, walked 1 and had 4 strikeouts in the Scouts 10-0 triumph over the Toledo Viceroys.
Over the season Martyn has thrown 120.1 innings and dished out 58 strikeouts with a 12-0 mark and a 1.94 ERA.

 | Monday, May 11th, 2015: Cruz Holds Toledo Scoreless
The Toledo Viceroys struggled at the plate today against Edge hurler Pablo Cruz, who shackled them on 5 hits while hurling a complete game 4-0 shutout.
"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Viceroys skipper in his postgame comments.
"Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."
Cruz finished the game with 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in an excellent mound performance.
"He pitched real well," his manager said. "Pablo made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
This year Cruz has compiled a 4-2 record with a 1.80 ERA in 8 starts.
